Toryjoy has not missed a Saturday meeting in June and finally got some joy as she proved too tough for her rivals over the Rosehill 1800m on Saturday.
Kathy O’Hara took her to the front and defied all challengers has she held off Chris Waller stablemate Waking Moment, much to the satisfaction of the jockey.
“I told them that she is tough and would get out in trip after last week,” O’Hara said. “She just needed to get into her rhythm.
“She relaxes so well the extra trip wasn’t going to be a problem, and she is very fit. When you get one right like that it is special.
“I think she will get 2000m and there are more wins in store for her.” – Chris Roots, Sydney Morning Herald.
