Premier trainer Chris Waller has five runners across four races at Canterbury Park on Wednesday to secure the one win he needs to become the fastest-ever to reach 100 Sydney wins in a season.

Waller is represented by juveniles Foxplay and Omei Sword in the opening race then Spiritos (race 4), Miss Denni (race 5) and Rock Temple (race 6).

If Waller has a rare winless Wednesday, then he should bring up his century on his home track at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday where he has 20 nominations including crack colt Press Statement (Hobartville Stakes), fan favourite Catkins and in-form mare Amicus (Millie Fox Stakes) and boom galloper Start Wondering (Benchmark 93 Handicap). – Ray Thomas, The Daily Telegraph
