At Chris Waller Racing, we see horse racing as not only a sport but a lifestyle. Nothing is as thrilling as watching your horse win a race and we want everyone to have the opportunity to get involved.
Making the sport accessible to all, we have created multiple entry points into racehorse ownership so you can find the right fit for you. Read on below to find out how you can become a
part of Chris Waller Racing.
This option is for those who like to make the calls themselves; from picking a name, choosing your own personalized silks and involvement in the decision-making process to determine the best career path for your horse.
As the sole owner, you will collect all the prize money and enjoy any upside in residual value if the horse becomes a champion, but you are also responsible for all expenses accrued by your horse.
Chris Waller Racing has a long association with Bloodstock Agent Guy Mulcaster and together they have selected the likes of Winx, Preferment, Kermadec and Zougotcha among a host of other top liners for the stable.
A similar opportunity to sole ownership at a fraction of the price. Part ownership allows you to get a group of up to 20 like-minded people together, with one managing part-owner who will handle communications and housekeeping for the group.
Expenses are split between the owners and the benefits sit between Sole Ownership and Syndication as you are still closely involved in the decision-making but sharing the bills.
Leading syndicator Star Thoroughbreds is the exclusive partner of Chris Waller Racing. Together they are responsible for selecting and purchasing the horse at auction, finding owners and finalizing the paperwork of ownership, meaning that all the hard work is done for you.
As an owner in a syndicate, you will own a percentage share of the horse along with a number of other owners. This also means that the ongoing training costs of the horse is split amongst the entire group of owners in your syndicate.
Founded in 1994 by Denise Martin, Star Thoroughbreds has a record of success that speaks for itself. From Golden Slipper-winning sire Sebring to Group 1-winning mares Invincibella and Espiona, their team of experts are well equipped to identify talented yearlings at the sales.
