We are constantly on the look out for experienced, hard-working and conscientious Staff to perform Foreman roles.


Positions are based at our Rosehill stable in Sydney Australia.

Successful applicants will enjoy great working conditions, a fun and successful environment and an attractive remuneration package which includes the lucrative 1.5% stable bonus scheme in NSW (CWR won $35M in prize money last season).

The salary will be above award – in the range of $54,600 to $66,768 per annum depending upon the level of responsibility.

Accommodation is available for those seeking positions at Rosehill.

You will be required to work a 5½ day week.

2nd Foreperson – able to educate our young horses on the ground with ability to manage a small team of horses and staff under the direction of the head foreperson.

Essential Skills:

All applicants must have a minimum of 3 year full time professional experience in the role and be able to prove you are reliable workers with excellent horsemanship skills.

In addition the following will be required:

Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing.

Proven ability to train and educate young horses.

Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information.

Ability to work in a team and independently (or proven management experience if the position is for a foreperson role).

Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment.

Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of racehorses

Raceday Duties Daily hours of work are: Mornings: 3.40am – 9.30am Afternoons: 2.20pm – 5.00pm You will be rewarded with above award rate pay.
